The maps, which are waterproof and tear-resistant, extend several miles into Vermont and New York. The book now includes detailed elevation profiles as well.

Useful Guide

Irritating map typo on p 45: in place of the map of the Vermont/Massachusetts border, they have the map of the Massachusetts/Conneticut border, the very same map that is reprinted again in its proper place on p. 127. Other than that, a useful comprehensive guide to these sections of the A.T.
