Plants and Society

Its a good basic book that explains the plant structure and how plants contribute to agriculture and society in general. I had to read this book for my Plants, Agriculture, and Society college class. I would recommend this book for people with knowledge of high school biology and who are looking for an introduction to the subject.

Had to buy this a for class. Overall, if I can remember correctly, it was a decent enough book. I enjoyed the class and professor so I' m assuming his taste in literature for the class is "top notch" as well.

Good textbook

So far am really enjoying this textbook, it has short easy to read chapters and isn't terribly boring. Good illustrations and doesn't try to be overly wordy or confusing to begginer students. Great textbook for a botany student or someone just wanting to learn more about the subject.
